Keith Hiatt is a vice president at Benetech, where he leads the Human Rights Program. He serves as an advisor on matters of technology, law, and human rights to the United Nations, the Office of the Prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Bellingcat and United 4 Iran. After completing a law degree at UC Berkeley, Keith clerked for the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, then worked as a legal aid lawyer in Silicon Valley. Prior to law school, he was a software engineer at Microsoft and a systems analyst at Boeing.
