ICC Judge Discusses Recent Developments in International Criminal Law

Judge Chang-ho Chung of the International Criminal Court visited Stanford on November 15 to offer his perspective on recent trends and institutional developments at the Court, as well as opportunities for future engagement to promote rule of law.

Both undergraduate and law school students welcomed the opportunity to hear Judge Chung’s vision for expanding the ICC’s role as a leader in justice sector capacity building.

Judge Chung also invited the students to ask questions about the ICC and its work, prompting discussion on topics such as complementarity, non-cooperation, and victim participation.

We thank Judge Chung for sharing experience and insights!
