Cambodia Team Discusses New Report on Radio Show

The Handa Center’s Cambodia Program, represented by Lina Tay, appeared on local Radio FM 102 on February 1, 2018 to discuss the recently released report, ‘So We Can Know What Happened’: The Educational Potential of the ECCC. The report captures the perspectives of Cambodian youth about the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC), and its educational potential in Cambodia.

“It was my pleasure to represent the Handa Center and present our recent report,” stated Lina Tay. She found it interesting that some of the people who called in to the radio show expressed doubt in the existence of the Khmer Rouge period, which confirmed the importance of this report and educating the next generation about Cambodia’s history.
